My family has been in the garment business since the early 1990s, so I grew up immersed in textiles. I completed my schooling in Tirupur and pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Textile Technology at Bannari Amman Institute, known for its strong textile program, following a path I was familiar with and passionate about.

From the start, I was drawn to fashion, learning about sewing machines and related aspects. After earning my bachelor’s degree, I pursued a master’s degree in business management at Leeds University in the UK. During my time there, I interned with Zara, gaining valuable insights into the fashionindustry.

Having roots in garment manufacturing, I always had the urge to start my own brand. When numerous brands came to Tirupur to produce their products, I questioned why someone from Tirupur couldn't create a brand themselves.

I got married, and around the time my wife became pregnant, I registered the brand Adore-a-Boo. My experience in manufacturing for various brands, gave me a comprehensive understanding of this industry.

Today, Adore-a-Boo boasts over 400 prints that moms and kids love. We cater to age categories from 0 months to 14 years, offering a wide variety of prints and styles. One of our unique product categories is cord sets, featuring matching prints for tops and bottoms.

The COVID-19 pandemic was a challenging period. With around 40 to 50 workers depending on us, we decided to start with kids' face masks as our first product, introducing printed masks for kids and becoming the first to launch such a product with a variety of print options.

Within two months, we saw excellent sales and positive feedback, which encouraged us to expand our product range.

While we sell online, we recently opened a store at our office where customers can directly purchase products. Our vision is to include all kinds of baby and kids' essential products under the Adore-a-Boo brand.

As a proud "dadpreneur," I draw inspiration from "mompreneurs" and aim to create a brand that combines family values with business acumen.
